PD Active keeps you moving, offering everything from Yoga to Voice to Boxing. Classes are designed to address PD-specific symptoms.
PD Active, a Bay Area non-profit by and for people with Parkinson’s Disease, offers weekly, live-stream exercise classes with local teachers for the East Bay Parkinson’s community.
In addition to these classes, there are many excellent resources online that can help you maintain an active and varied exercise regimen and connect with PD communities locally and around the U.S.

Boxing
Albany RSB (Rock Steady Boxing)
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am-11:30 am
Description: Rock Steady Boxing is the first program in the country dedicated to using boxing to condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, hand-eye coordination, footwork, and overall strength to defend against the opponent — Parkinson’s. Coach Daniel Burkhardt teaches exercises varying in purpose and form that share one common trait: they are rigorous and intended to extend the capabilities of the participant.
Fee-based class on Zoom. Current active Albany RSB fighters receive email invite for each class. New fighters welcome.
